Supplies: 3.5 mm hook, 10 mm safety eyes, 15 mm safety nose (optional, you can embroider a nose in it’s place) preferred brand of yarn in cinnamon color, small amounts of black, white, baby pink, teal and gold yarns, poly-fil stuffing.

Head (cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Round 4: * sc in first stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, sc in next stitch* repeat around. (24 stitches)

Round 5: *2 sc in first stitch, sc in each of the next 3 stitches* repeat around.

Round 6: *sc in each of the first 2 stitches, 2 sc in next stitch, sc in each of the next 2 stitches* repeat around. (36 stitches)

Round 7 – Round 16: sc in each stitch around.

Round 17: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 4 stitches* repeat around.

Round 18: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 3 stitches* repeat around.

Round 19: *sc first stitch, sc2tog, sc next stitch* repeat around.

Fasten off, stuff with poly-fil and set to the side.

Body (cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 19 – Round 23: sc in each stitch around.

Round 24: sc in each of the first 9 stitches, *sc2tog, sc next stitch* repeat * to * 6 times, sc in each of the last 9 stitches.

Round 25: sc in each stitch around.

Round 26: sc in each of the first 9 stitches, sc2tog 6 times, sc in each of the last 9 stitches.

Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing to head. Stuff with poly-fil.

Eyes (make 2, white yarn)

Round 1: ch 4, begin stitches in the 2nd chain from hook, sc each of the next 2, 3 sc in the last chain, continue working along back of foundation chain, sc in next stitch, 2 sc in final stitch, slst to the first sc to close.

Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing onto head. Attach safety eye to each eye before sewing to head so that the top of the eyes touch between rounds 8 and 9.

Snout (cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Round 4: *2 sc in first stitch, sc in each of the next 5 stitches* repeat around. (21 stitches)

Round 5 – Round 8: sc in each stitch around.

Round 9: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 5 stitches* repeat around. (18 stitches)

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing to head. Attach safety nose or embroider nose with black yarn before stuffing lightly and sewing to head below eyes.

Front Legs (make 2, cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Round 4: *sc in first stitch, 2 sc in next stitch, sc in third stitch* repeat around.

Round 5: BLO sc in each stitch around. (24 stitches)

Round 6 – Round 7: sc in each of the next 6 stitches, hdc2tog 6 times, sc in each of the last 6 stitches.

Round 8 – Round 22: sc in each stitch around.

Fasten off, leave tail for closing the top of the leg and sewing to body. Add poly-fill to tightly stuff the foot section and lightly stuff the remainder of the leg.

Back Legs (make 2, cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Round 3: sc in each stitch around.

Round 4: *2 sc in first stitch, sc in each of the next 2 stitches* repeat around. (12 stitches)

Round 5 – Round 7: sc in each stitch around.

Round 8: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 2 stitches* repeat around.

Round 9: *sc2tog, sc in next stitch* repeat around.

Round 10 – Round 11: sc in each stitch around.

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing foot onto leg. Flatten the leg and use a separate piece of yarn to sew it onto the body so that the opening of Round 11 is in line with the bottom of the body. Stuff each leg firmly after attaching it to the body.

Back Feet (make 2, cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in each of the first 3 stitches, 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches* repeat around.

Round 4: [*2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat * to * 3 times, sc in each of the next 3 stitches] repeat [ to ].

Round 5 – Round 11: sc in each stitch around.

Round 12: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 2 stitches* repeat around.

Round 13: *sc2tog, sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 14: sc2tog around.

Fasten off, use tail to close the remaining stitches of round 14 and then weave in ends. Use tail of the back leg pieces to sew foot and back leg together.

Ears (make 2, cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 5 sc.

Round 2: sc in first stitch, *2 sc in next stitch, sc in following stitch* repeat around.

Round 3: sc in each stitch around.

Round 4: sc2tog, sc each of the next 5.

Round 5: *sc first 2 stitches, 2 sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 6: *sc first 3 stitches, 2 sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 7: *sc first 4 stitches, 2 sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 8: *sc first 5 stitches, 2 sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 9: *sc first 6 stitches, 2 sc next stitch* repeat around.

Round 10 – Round 11: sc in each stitch around.

Fasten off. Flatten ear. Using baby pink yarn, embroider a triangle onto each ear with the base along round 11 of the ear. Sew onto head.

Tail (cinnamon yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around. (9 stitches)

Round 3 – Round 22: sc in each stitch around.

Fasten off, sew to body with the bottom of the tail landing between rounds 6 and 7 of the body.

Eyebrows (make 2, black yarn)

Row 1: ch 4, begin stitches in 2nd chain from hook, sc 3.

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto head. Sew each eyebrow one row about each eye.

Small Spot (black yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: *2 sc in each of the next 2 stitches, ch 2*

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto back of body.

Medium Spot (black yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto back of body.

Large Spot (black yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in next* repeat around.

Round 4: *sc in first stitch, 2 sc in the next, sc in the third* repeat around.

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto back of body.

Collar (teal yarn)

Row 1: ch 32, begin working in 3rd chain from hook, hdc each of the next 30 stitches.

Fasten off, use tail to attach ends on back of neck.

Tag (teal yarn)

Round 1: ch 3, begin working in 2nd chain from hook, sc each of the next 2 chains.

Round 2: sc in each stitch.

Change to gold yarn.

Round 3: sc around entire edge.

Fasten off, weave in teal yarn ends and then use the tail of gold yarn to sew the tag onto the collar.
