Supplies Needed: gray yarn, white yarn, a pair of 10 mm safety eyes, 3.5 mm crochet hook, yarn needle, and polyfil stuffing.

Abbreviations Used: sc – single crochet, sc2tog – single crochet 2 together, slst – slip stitch, bobble – bobble stitch, 4 dc in one stitch, BLO – back loop only.

Trunk/Head (gray yarn)

Round 1: magic ring – sc 6.

Round 2: *2sc, sc* repeat * to * around.

Round 3: BLO sc around.

Round 4 – Round 5: sc around.

Round 6-Round 7: sc2tog, *sc, 2sc* 2x, sc, sc2tog.

Round 8: sc 3, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc 3.

Round 9: sc 5, 2sc, sc 5.

Round 10 – Round 11: sc around. (12 stitches)

Round 12 – Round 13: 2 sc, sc 3, sc2tog 2x, sc 3, 2 sc.

Round 14: sc around.

Round 15: 2sc 4x, sc 6, 2sc 2x.

Round 16: *2sc, sc* 4x, sc 6, * to * 2x.

Round 17: *sc, 2sc, sc* 4x, sc 6, * to * 2x.Round 18: *sc 2, 2sc, sc 2* repeat * to * around.

Round 19: *2sc, sc 5* repeat * to * around.

Round 20: sc around.

Round 21: *sc, 2sc, sc* 6x, sc 24.

Round 22: *2sc, sc 7* repeat * to * around. (54 stitches)

Round 23 – Round 31: sc around.

Round 32: *sc 4, sc2tog, sc 3* repeat * to * around.

Secure safety eyes between rounds 18 and 19, with 8 stitches between them.

Round 33: *sc2tog, sc in each of the next 6 stitches* repeat * to * around. (42 stitches)

Round 34: sc around.

Round 35: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 5 stitches* repeat * to * around. (36 stitches)

Round 36: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 4 stitches* repeat * to * around. (30 stitches)

Begin stuffing head.

Round 37: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 3 stitches* repeat * to * around. (24 stitches)

Round 38: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 2 stitches* repeat * to * around. (18 stitches)

Finish stuffing head.

Round 39: *sc2tog, sc in the next stitch* repeat * to * around. (12 stitches)

Round 40: sc2tog around. (6 stitches)

Fasten off, use tail to close remaining stitches.

Embroider eyebrows above safety eyes with black yarn.

Arms (gray yarn, make 2)

Round 1: magic ring: 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in the next* repeat * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 4: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of the next 5 stitches* repeat * to * around. (21 stitches)

Round 5: BLO sc each of the first 6 stitches, *change to off white yarn, bobble, change to gray yarn, sc each of the next 2 stitches,* repeat * to * a total of 3 times, sc each of the last 6 stitches.

Round 6 – Round 8: sc around.

Round 9: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 5 stitches* repeat * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 10 – Round 12: sc around.

Round 13: *sc2tog, sc 1* repeat * to * around. (12 stitches)

Round 14 – Round 16: sc around.

Lightly stuff, flatten opening.

Round 17: working through both layers to close top of arm, sc2tog, sc 2, sc2tog.

Fasten off, leave tail for sewing onto body.

Legs (gray yarn, make 2)

Round 1: magic ring: 6 sc.

Round 2: 2 sc in each stitch around.

Round 3: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in the next* repeat * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 4: *2 sc in first stitch, 1 sc in each of the next 5 stitches* repeat * to * around. (21 stitches)

Round 5: BLO sc each of the first 6 stitches, *change to off white yarn, bobble, change to gray yarn, sc each of the next 2 stitches,* repeat * to * a total of 3 times, sc each of the last 6 stitches.

Round 6 – Round 8: sc around.

Round 9: *sc2tog, sc each of the next 5 stitches* repeat * to * around. (18 stitches)

Round 10 – Round 12: sc around.

Round 13: *sc2tog, sc 4* repeat * to * around. (12 stitches)

Round 14 – Round 16: sc around.

Fasten off, stuff, leave tail for sewing to bottom of body.

Round 5: sc 9, begin stitches around upper ear piece to connect, sc 24 around upper ear, continue with stitches on unworked round 5 of lower ear, sc 9

Round 6 – Round 7: sc around entire piece. (42 stitches)

Round 8: sc2tog 2x, sc 15, sc2tog 2x, sc 15, sc2tog 2x.

Round 9 – Round 10: sc around.

Round 11: sc2tog 2x, sc 12, sc2tog 2x, sc 12, sc2tog 2x.

Round 12: sc around.
